Aaaaand I'm back! This time, I'm here to give my opinion/narration on the latest chapter, Pandora Hearts Retrace 73: A note (LOL I seem redundant, don't I?) I decided to post something like this, since I don't see anyone doing it yet.

And since this IS from the latest chapter, it contains A MULTITUDE of SPOILERS.

I've read a translation of this chapter last night (the link was shared by a friend, in which she found it from tumblr). So now, I'll tell you what I think about it.

It seems that Jack formally asked the Will of the Abyss to lend him her power, power that he'll use to severe the chains in the Abyss. And he actually told her that he wanted to meet her (in personal, maybe?). And this was also the time when Jack asked her (indirectly) to give him a chain, which goes to show that he didn't have a chain IMMEDIATELY.

And in that part, there's one thing that caught my attention: At the beginning, Jack noted that when Alice started to talk in a different manner, Alice nor Will of the Abyss talked that way, to the point that he thought it was the Core of the Abyss that was talking. This means that if it was ACTUALLY the Core who was talking, the Core may have its own personality, making it 3 souls in one body. Also, the 'Core' seemed to mention something about Alice's body breaking, based on my understanding. And I personally think that the reason for this is due to the pressure (heck, who wouldn't be pressured if 2 souls are in your body? And the worst thing is it might turn 3 if my guess is correct D:)

Another mystery in this chapter is the note Reim received upon waking up (yes, people, he's up, alive, and... not really kicking, since he still has injuries left to heal...) Who sent him the letter and what it contains are still unknown. But some possibilities as to who did it would either be Break or Rufus, since they're the few people who are close to Reim.

Going back outside the Rainsworth Mansion (XD) Alice and Jack (who was currently controlling Oz) have a small confrontation. Alice was trying to get Jack to leave her manservant's body, screaming stuff like she's the only person allowed to make him 'cry' out, but Jack doesn't budge. He then says something about telling her to leave OZ'S BODY, then says that she should disappear. As Jack swings the B-Rabbit scythe, Oz screams Alice's name. Now, looking at this part, it looks as though Alice is possessing Oz's real body, seeing the way Jack said it. (finally we see Oz's real body, which is the chain, B-Rabbit... well, we probably knew it all along, but... just to give emphasis)

Now, looking back at Jack and Alice's (Will of the Abyss) conversation earlier, it would seem that Alice decided to help Jack by giving him the seemingly perfect candidate for his chain's body: the innocent black rabbit plushie (she actually drew it on a piece of paper... and her drawing skills are quite good :D). She says stuff about that plushie always being with her no matter what, but for some reason, she forgot the plushie's name ~~(WHAT? THAT PLUSHIE'S BEEN WITH YOU THROUGH IT ALL ONLY FOR YOU TO FORGET HIS NAME XD~~ But wait, ignore my rant... I suddenly remembered that it was Alice who named the rabbit, not Will of the Abyss... forgive me).

While she was trying to remember the plushie's name, Jack had a flashback of Lacie's chain's silhouette appearing behind her when she last used it, then he says something about him having the SAME CHAIN AS HERS as an honor. Looking at this, I personally think that this part confirms that theory of Lacie's chain being different from Jack's chain (I'm sure many people theorized this one :)). But one thing for sure: they're the same type. 'Nuff said.

Okay, back to the present time, Lotti questioned Rufus about whether or not he knew that Oswald!Glen's body was used for the Sealing Stones. Rufus then answers her this:

That’s what I thought until a few days ago. Up until then, I was under the impression that you guys were with Jack Vessalius in putting his body in the stones. I did not have any positive proof until now, so I did not say anything…It is vexing. We have all been beautifully manipulated. In Arthur Barma’s notes I discovered the reason behind why he was forced to write about Jack Vessalius in such a light.
Without knowing about this grand scheme I, upon obtaining these notes, realized it was like knowing both the truth and an illusion……….There is at least one salvation…I noticed it at the end. In the notes are concealed the true feelings of Arthur Barma. Hidden under double and triple codes or perhaps he never wanted them to be exposed.
But, nevertheless, if we assume that he could not help but write them down, then that surely must be my ancestor’s cry [of help] to the others.

So, in other words... Rufus may have assumed all of these stuff beforehand, but kept quiet due to lack of proof. And even if he has the proof now, I suppose it's too late for that. And we can now say that Arthur Barma's notes can be taken as something with a warning hidden inside it.

In the notes, we can see there how Arthur actually praised Jack, with him 'having everything', only to regret it in the end. Here were his notes:

He has everything: he is bright and kind, has wit and intelligence, and is abundant in popularity. And, above the rest, he is beautiful. He was the complete opposite of me, who was dim witted and a poor of speech. So, at those times when he called out to me, I was certain that he must have been making a mistake. And whenever he called me his ‘friend’ caused my heart to tremble. But…I was wrong.
That boy was just using me to get in contact with my little sister, Miranda, nothing more. Ahh…How terrifying! How terrifying!! That nightmare—-how much [I wish] the Tragedy of Sablier had been an evil lie.

Therefore, I think it turns out that Jack was one of those Rubbermaid people: fake, plastic. And hey, he's also a good user. And Arthur seemingly felt sad about this to a certain extent... BUT WAIT! He mentioned the Tragedy of Sablier. So does this confirm that Jack caused it? Most likely.

Now, in the flashback (YET AGAIN), Miranda and Jack are having a conversation with regards to making a contract with the Chain B-Rabbit, producing a road of distortion, etc.. And looking there, I think even Miranda was questioning just what Jack planned to do. And Jack said that he was only returning the favor. What's the favor, you ask? Miranda saving him (in a way, I guess) And also, Jack mentioned that if Miranda wants to have his(Oswald!Glen) head (here we go again =_=), then her power should be mightier than Oswald!Glen (Jack did state that his power is MIGHTY)

And suddenly Miranda goes like this:

Since the first moment I saw him, I couldn’t forget it…That beautiful head of his resting atop those shoulders. I want to kiss him. Soon, his body will start rotting and slowly death will take over him. And in that moment, his eyes will be etched in my memories. And, like that, I will last be able to make him…Oswald, mine and mine alone, forever—-!

JUST WHAT. Does this mean that Miranda has insane and obsessive feelings of love towards Oswald!Glen? Most likely. Or maybe... is she just sadistic? Probably.

Then after that small rant, Miranda mentions something about the upcoming Glen Baskerville accession ceremony. And now we finally know something about the Nightray household (after a long time of them not being mentioned... FINALLY): They are longstanding friends of the Baskerville household. Not the Vessalius, Not the Barmas. The Nightray Household.

After that, we can see Little Gilbert and Little Vincent in view (okay, since the nicknames are too long, I'll just call them Gil and Vince). And it's confirmed that Jack did have some sort of mutual stuff with them: he was the one who saved them, for personal reasons, of course. And those reasons were quite simple: Because Vincent had red eyes similar to Lacie, and their circumstances were similar with the characteristics of the Baskervilles. Then Jack mentions something about the brothers being similar to Lacie and Oswald!Glen: the younger sibling being the Child of Misfortune, and the other one becoming the next Glen Baskerville. (It's confirmed, guys. At least that's how I take it.)

At first, you'll see that Jack's all normal, until he says that they will lend him their power. Oh Jack. You really are a user. Very nice. (Be thankful I don't hate you. Sorry Jack-Haters community..) [BTW Those were Jack's thoughts.] After that, Jack suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when Alice (most likely WoA) talked to him, upon noticing that he seemed to be sad or something. Then Jack told her about it, only for MochiJun-sensei to cut it off with Alice telling Vince that his brother will be killed by Glen. Again, very nice.

Then, still on flashback, Miranda told something about how to open the Door of the Abyss to Vince. A quick jump to the present time, Vincent doesn't believe that Jack will lie to him ~~(but he lied to other people, Vincent, so there's no way he can't lie to you XD *shot*)~~, then Rufus interrupts, saying that Jack told Arthur that 'the Child of Misfortune is necessary to touch the Core of the Abyss'. But Vincent is still in a disbelieving state. Damn it.

Going to a flashback once again, Gil and Oswald!Glen are seen having a ~~fatherly~~ conversation. Gil says something about being nervous for the ceremony, with Oswald!Glen reassuring him, saying that he felt the same during his own ceremony. ~~AWWWW.~~

In the middle of the conversation, we will see Raymond Nightray's letter(? I'm not really sure.), requesting Oswald!Glen to cancel the Vessalius' and Barma's invitation to their ceremony, the reason being that Raymond has a bad feeling about them.

Then back to the conversation, Oswald!Glen asks Gil if he loves Jack. Gil immediately said yes, then quickly adding that he loved Oswald!Glen more TT^TT. Then Oswald!Glen tells Gil that he also wants to continue being his friend, like how Gil is with Jack.

Back to the present time, Gilbert says that (in his thoughts, of course) he won't forgive Jack.

Now, looking at this chapter as a whole, I feel like slapping myself a million times. Why, you ask? Well, let's just say that I hated the Nightray household (except Elliot and Gilbert. Vincent, well, it lessened before this happened), and now this chapter slaps me in the face by giving an implication that the Nightrays were the good guys? If that is so, then their relationship with the Vessalius finally makes sense: whatever will happen in the ceremony (which might be explained in the future chapters), the Vessalius probably did something to ruin it (with Jack as the main suspect), making the Nightrays dislike them in a way. Also, I think that the Tragedy of Sablier will happen on the very date of the Glen Baskerville accession ceremony ~~(am I the only one who knew nothing about this one? Oh well)~~

Looking at what 'Alice' said, I think her case is similar with what happened to Revis/Levy: their body deteriorating due to pressure. In her case, though, it's all about ownership XP. Maybe Alice was bound to die even before the Tragedy? And maybe she was already too weak, making Jack kill her easily using B-Rabbit? I don't know myself.

And also, looking at the WoA's conversation with Jack, I think her feelings on its effects after the Tragedy of Sablier has something to do with her wish. In the present part, it is most likely that Jack is going to kill Alice. Now what I'm saying is this: I think the WoA had finally come to her senses about how the dead will remain dead, and how much bad stuff Jack's plan is going to bring, and realized that her twin sister will be in danger. And maybe (JUST MAYBE), her wish of being destroyed is so that Jack will not manage to bring the world to the Abyss. Maybe if WoA is destroyed, then the Abyss will be destroyed too, and Jack won't have any place to bring the world to, or any chain to severe, making his efforts all for nothing.

Sorry about my rants. And sorry if my opinions are a bit lacking; my mind is still too blown up to make up a lot of theories (I might edit this post if I remember something). And sorry if this post is too long.

Please don't be mad after reading this ^^; But if you want, shoot me to death. XD

There are some OzAlice, Gilbert, GilAlice, Vanessa, Mrs. Nightray, Jack, Glen, Lacie and sisterly boob-groping? Anyway I'm not very sure about Vincent's body on the VinceAda and wouldn't mind criticism either.

some sketches non-PH. there are mostly um, random fringe sketches more than the more important works -except for the VinceAda I plan to finish and polish that inshallah. seems all of my stuff end up illegible, unfinished sketches. >_>

Is it just me or...

could Break and Revis be related?

I mean, Revis would have had to have a 'Child of Misfortune' sibling and Break has red eyes.

They also have similar, if not the same hair colour and were around at the same time, right?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this~!
